Student life

Yes, we're first here for our studies, we mustn't forget this!

At the beginning of the year, I was impressed by my school - the University of the West of Scotland, Paisley campus. Indeed, all is huge. There are a lot of buildings (some of which where I've never set foot), a quality hardware available and for the first day of school there was full of animations and games for students. Some of them were fighting on bouncy castle while some others were playing at giant 'Connect 4' ('Puissance 4' in French). What a welcome!

I noted that we haven't the same way of work than the Scots. For example, for the first group work someone brought a bottle of water (plain water or sparkling water, as desired!) and sweeties at each table. What is that? Have we got the same benefits in France? Que nenni! Here, the whole University is very caring for us.

Also, we have just a few hours of class a week instead of around thirty in France. But here, it is expected that students use their free time to do researches at the library about theories and other. The most important are references that you add to your reports.
